MONROEVILLE CAREER CENTER TO HOST JOB FAIR FOR THE ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE & INDUSTRIES IN THE MONROE COUNTY/MONROEVILLE AREA
MONROEVILLE – The Monroeville Career Center is hosting a job fair The Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries. The work consists of sampling, grading, and assisting in the grading of peanuts during harvest season as they arrive at buying points through south Alabama. Must be available to work up to 12 hours a day, seven days a week. Jobs include:
• Produce Inspector – $14.53 per hour
• Laborer – $11.36 per hour
• Sampler – $11.36 per hour
Applications will be completed online at www.agi.alabama.gov/afsis and interviews will be conducted onsite at the Monroeville Career Center for Produce Inspectors and Laborer / Sampler positions for the peanut harvest season.
The job fair will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Monroeville Career Center. To learn more, contact:
