Hearings And Appeals

What is an appeal hearing?
An appeal hearing is an informal administrative proceeding in which claimants and employers may appeal determinations they feel are incorrect or otherwise adversely impact them. Each party is given an opportunity to present their case. Testimony is given under oath. The majority of hearings are conducted over the phone and usually last between a half hour and an hour. In-person hearings are granted only under rare circumstances.
