Employers
I Am an Employer
You have a position to fill, and you’re looking for the candidate with the right knowledge, aptitude, and attitude. The Alabama Department of Labor has the programs and resources in place to make the process simpler and more rewarding.
Through our on-the-job training (OJT) program, you can be reimbursed a portion of participants’ wages to offset your costs as they learn their trade. We also provide apprenticeships in several key industry sectors, and work based learning that results in improved skills, higher efficiency, and a better-trained labor pool that encourages business growth and productivity.
