The Sheffield Career Center will be hosting a Job Fair for the Alabama Department of Transportation and Pilgrim’s Pride

Sheffield – The Sheffield Career Center will be hosting a Job Fair for the Alabama Department of Transportation and Pilgrim’s Pride on March 21st at the Sheffield Career Center.

ALDOT Positions include the following entry level positions:

  • Engineering Aide: Highschool Diploma or GED required.
  • Transportation Maintenance Technician I: Completion of 8th grade required.
  • Transportation Worker: Completion of 8th grade required.

Pilgrim’s Pride is hiring Production Workers and other positions. They currently have 75 open positions. Starting pay is $17.25/hour and offers benefits that include Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. They offer 401(k), Paid tuition, and Advancement opportunities. Pilgrim’s will be at the career center from 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM.

The job fair will be held on Thursday March 21st  from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at the Sheffield Career Center, 500 South Montgomery Ave Ste. 102 Sheffield, AL 35660
